January 4th, 2022 – IMPORTANT UPDATE
Hello Families,
Doug Ford and the Ontario Government made a big announcement yesterday morning. Schools are moving online for a few weeks and our dance studio is mandated to be closed beginning on Wednesday at 12:01am. We are devastated to be locked down a 4th time and know how important dance is to the mental and physical health of our dancers.
Here is our studio plan:
All classes will run tonight and tomorrow in person at the studio, as per our normal schedule. Our competitive team will have additional classes scheduled tonight for our mini/petites/intermediates. On Wednesday, we will switch over to Zoom and all classes will run on their normal schedule via Zoom (this includes kinder/ preschool classes).
We are allowed to reopen on Wednesday, January 26th at which time we will switch back to in person classes. Should the government decide to extend the shut down (fingers crossed they don’t) we will have a 1 week studio break from Zoom. Rather than cancel this week of classes, we will move it to the end of our season which would have us finishing the year on May 22nd.
We will be organizing all of the details involved as soon as possible and will be in touch.
